    وجاء أهل المدينة يستبشرون

    يستبشرون بنعمة من الله وفضل وأن الله لا يضيع أجر المؤمنين

    وإذا ما أنزلت سورة فمنهم من يقول أيكم زادته هذه إيمانا فأما الذين آمنوا فزادتهم إيمانا وهم يستبشرون
  • And when Allah is mentioned alone, the hearts of the ones who do not believe in the Hereafter get disgusted, and when the ones apart from Him are mentioned, only then are they glad at the tidings
    وإذا ذكر الله وحده اشمأزت قلوب الذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة وإذا ذكر الذين من دونه إذا هم يستبشرون
  • Then came the people of the city , exulting at the news .
    وجاء أهل مدينة لوط إلى لوط حين علموا بمن عنده من الضيوف ، وهم فرحون يستبشرون بضيوفه ؛ ليأخذوهم ويفعلوا بهم الفاحشة .
  • And the people of the city came rejoicing . ( * To the house of Prophet Lut . )
    وجاء أهل مدينة لوط إلى لوط حين علموا بمن عنده من الضيوف ، وهم فرحون يستبشرون بضيوفه ؛ ليأخذوهم ويفعلوا بهم الفاحشة .
