• As an operational part of the training, a practical exercise was conducted at the premises of the Reynosa customs. The exercise consisted of a simulation of a collision, on the “Nuevo Amanecer” Reynosa-Pharr international bridge, between a tanker carrying 25,000 litres of hydrochloric acid (a toxic chemical) and a tractor-trailer, resulting in a leakage of material from the discharge valve of the tanker, which released a cloud of toxic vapour into the air.
