  16-4 وقد أعطت تلك التعديلات للمحكمة الشرعية سلطة دخول الدعوى نيابة عن الطرف المتخلف عن المثول أمام المحكمة في حال رفض ذلك الطرف بيع ممتلكاتٍ أو نقل ملكيتها إلى الطرف الآخر، كما أوضحت الوضع القانوني للمرأة بما يفيد أنها لا تُعْتَبَر مطلّقة قانونا، بالرغم من نطق كلمة ”الطلاق“ من جانب الزوج، حتى تُصدِر المحكمة حكما بالطلاق.
