Latvian legal policy strongly prohibits persons individually or collectively from recruiting, collecting funds or solliciting any form of support for any criminal activity, including terrorist activities (see the previous report of the Republic of Latvia).

As mentioned in the initial and second periodic report, Mauritian law considers solliciting as illegal but does not pronounce prostitution as illegal (the content of section 253 of the Criminal Code and Section 26 of the Criminal Code Supplementary Code Act have been widely reproduced in the above mentioned report).
