Only two Parties reported related activities: Australia mentioned its contribution to the international arena through its funding of bilateral and regional activities that strengthen climate change capacity-building, information networks, training and research in developing countries, predominantly in the Asia-Pacific Region; and Finland reported on some projects in developing countries (e.g. the PANIF project in Nicaragua) which also aimed at increasing the public awareness of climate change.
