• The publication Comunidad y cambio en los escenarios regionales: una visión prospectiva was compiled by Maria de Lourdes Sierra Kobe and Alfredo Romero Castilla and edited by the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the Autonomous National University of Mexico (FCPyS-UNAM) in 2006. Presentations were also made of the books Guerra y antiterrorismo, Afganistán, Irak y Chechenia, by Raúl Fajardo and Las operaciones de mantenimiento de la paz de las Naciones Unidas: lecciones para México, which were compiled by Cristina Rosas González.

• Four NGOsnon-governmental organizations, Al AgoraÁgora, the Centro de la Vivienda y Estudios Urbanos (CENVI), the Fundación Hábitat ColombiaFoundation Habitat Colombia and the Instituto Brasileiro de Administração Municipal ( IBAM), are the regional Nodes of the Ibero-American Forum of Best Practices, supported by the Government of Spain and UN-HABITATUN-Habitat The NGOsnon-governmental organizations acting as anchoring institutions of the Urban Management Programme in the Regionregion, Agora XXI, the Centro Operacional de Vivienda y Poblamiento (COPEVI), Fedevivienda and IPES, are in the transition towards takeing the lead in the implementation of UMP Urban Management Programme successor activities.
  وتعتبر المنظمات غير الحكومية الأربع.الآغورا ومركز سبل المعيشة والدراسات الحضرية ومؤسسة الموئل في كولومبيا والمعهد البرازيلي لإدارة البلديات بمثابة الأعمدة الإقليمية للمنتدى الايبري الأمريكي لأفضل الممارسات الذي تدعمه حكومة أسبانيا وموئل الأمم المتحدة. وأخذت المنظمات غير الحكومية التي تعمل كمؤسسات داعمة لبرنامج الإدارة الحضرية في الإقليم، أغوارا 21 والمركز العملي وكوبيغي (COPEVI) وFedevivienda و IPESتتحول نحو تولي زمام القيادة في تنفيذ نشاطات برنامج الإدارة الحضرية الذي تلاه.
