Among the measures being taken to combat cervical cancer is the TATI project (Tamizaje y Tratamiento Inmediato, “Screening and Immediate Treatment), sponsored by the Pan American Health Organization and involving other organizations such as PATH (Programme for Appropriate Technology in Health), IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer), JHPIEGO (Johns Hopkins Programme for International Education in Gynaecology and Obstetrics), EngenderHealth and the National Plan for Gynaecological Cancer Prevention of the Ministry of Health in San Martin.
تضمنت المقترحات التي وضعت لمكافحة سرطان عنق الرحم مشروع TAT1 الذي تنفذه منظمة الصحة للبلدان الأمريكية بتدخلات من منظمات أخرى من بينها: منظمة باث والوكالة الدولية لبحوث السرطان ومؤسسة JHPIEGO التابعة لجامعة جون هوكنز ومؤسسة توليد الصحة (ENGENDERHEALTH) والخطة الوطنية للوقاية من سرطان الجهاز التناسلي لوزارة الصحة في سان مارتين.
