• The employment grants under the “Women as Entrepreneurs” (“Emprender en Femenino”) scheme organized by the Women's Institute were renewed for the third time by order of 8 July 1998, to encourage women in the so-called “Objective 1” Spanish regions and elsewhere to enter the labour market on a self-employed basis.
