• The second, entitled “Study for the management of oily wastes generated by the cleaning operations of the Lebanese coast following the oil spill of el Jiyeh”, which was published in December 2007, was funded by the Ministry of Finance and Industry of France and implemented in coordination with the Council for Development and Reconstruction in Lebanon, and a French independent engineering and environmental consulting firm as well as the Centre de Documentation de Recherche et d'Experimentations sur les pollutions accidentelles des eaux.
