• The Ministry of Human Rights sent a special delegation to inspect conditions at the Mifa`ah reception centre in the governorate of Shabwah.
  - قامت وزارة حقوق الإنسان بإيفاد بعثة متخصصة للإطلاع على وضع مركز الاستقبال بمديرية ميفعة محافظة شبوة.
• The Mifa`ah reception centre in the governorate of Shabwah, which hosts the largest number of refugees (a total of 60,857 between 1999 and 2004).
  - مركز استقبال ميفعة بمحافظة شبوة وإليه يصل العددُ الأكبرُ من النازحين (حيث بلغ عدد الواصلين إليه 857 60 لاجئاً في الفترة من 1999-2004).
• (b) Work is continuing on the construction of modern central prisons in the governorates of Abyan, Shabwah, Bayda' and Siy'un so that prisoners can be moved from existing prisons and the latter can be used for persons in pretrial detention;
  (ب) مازال العمل جارياً لبناء سجون مركزية حديثة في كلٍ من محافظات (أبين - شبوة - البيضاء - سيئون) لنقل السجناء إليها من السجون الحالية والاستفادة من الأخيرة للمحبوسين احتياطياً؛
• The Ministry of Human Rights dispatched expert field teams to inspect conditions at refugee reception centres in Mifa`ah in the governorate of Shabwah, the Basatin district of the governorate of Aden, and the Kharz region.
  وقامت وزارة حقوق الإنسان بإرسال فرق ميدانية متخصصة للاطلاع على وضع مراكز استقبال اللاجئين بمديرية ميفعة بمحافظة شبوة ومنطقة البساتين بمحافظة عدن ومنطقة خرز.
• Field inspection committees began the task of implementing the second stage in May 2002, with inspections of courts in Ibb, Ad-Dali`, Ta`izz, Al-Hudaydah, Al-Mahwit, Shabwah and Ma'rib Governorates; The Judicial Inspection Board referred a number of disciplinary cases to the High Council of the Judiciary.
  - قامت هيئة شؤون التفتيش القضائي بإحالة عدد من الدعاوى التأديبية إلى مجلس القضاء الأعلى حيث كان عددها في عام 2001، 10 دعاوى تأديبية؛
• Thirty-four women judges and members of the Department of Public Prosecutions were assigned to different courts and prosecutor's offices, while four new courts were established in the governorates of Sana`a City and Aden. Ten courts of first instance were merged in the governorates of Hadramawt, Hudaydah, Lahij, Sa`dah and Shabwah.
  ٦٤- وقد استوعبت الحركة ٣٤ قاضية وعضو نيابة عامة في مختلف المحاكم والنيابات، فيما تم إنشاء أربع محاكم جديدة في أمانة العاصمة ومحافظة عدن، وتم دمج ١٠ محاكم ابتدائية في محافظات (حضرموت - الحديدة - لحج - صعدة - شبوة).
• Field inspection committees began implementing the second phase in May 2002, inspecting courts in the governorates of Ibb, Dali`, Ta`izz, Hudaidah, Mahwit, Shabwah and Ma'rib. In 2003, the Judicial Inspection Authority implemented the third phase, focusing on the activities of judges in all courts of first assistance.
  كما بدأت اللجان الميدانية المكلفة بالتفتيش بتنفيذ المرحلة الثانية في شهر أيار/مايو 2002 بالتفتيش على محاكم محافظات إب، والضالع، وتعز، والحديدة، والمحويت، وشبوة ومأرب.
• (l) Two awareness-raising workshops were held respectively in Sana`a (from 16 to 17 February 2007) and Aden (from 23 to 24 March 2007) to disseminate human rights principles among members of the criminal investigation authorities; the training was attended by 122 participants, including judges, deputy public prosecutors, criminal investigation and prison officers, lawyers and members of civil society organizations operating in Sana`a City, Aden, Ta`izz, Hadramawt, Hudaydah, Ibb, Lahij, Abin, Dali`, Umran, Bayda' and Shabwah;
  (ل) عقد ورشتي عمل توعويتين في كلٍ من صنعاء ١٦-١٧ شباط/فبراير ٢٠٠٧ وعدن ٢٣-٢٤ آذار/مارس ٢٠٠٧ حول نشر المفهوم الحقوقي لدى جهات الضبط القضائي، بحضور ١٢٢ مشاركاً يمثلون القضاة ووكلاء النيابات ومسؤولي البحث الجنائي والسجون والمحاميين ومنظمات المجتمع المدني في كلٍ من (الأمانة - عدن - تعز- حضرموت - الحديدة - إب - لحج - ذمار - أبين - الضالع - عمران - البيضاء - شبوة).
