Particular reference can be made in this regard to certain provisions of the Patent Law Treaty (PLT), the Trademark Law Treaty (TLT) and the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) (with regard to the latter, the Standard for the Electronic Filing and Processing of International Applications).
