In this project, slated to begin in early spring of 2007, a pilot training concept will be developed by the Central Federation of German Retailers (Hauptverband des Deutschen Einzelhandels - HDE) working together with the German Trade Unions Confederation (Deutsche Gewerkschaftsbund - DGB) which maintains 141 working groups called “Work and Life” (ARBEIT UND LEBEN) in the Länder, regions and towns throughout the country, as well as a national working group.
