• The ILO Committee of Experts in 2007, in reference to the Convention concerning Discrimination in respect of Employment and Occupation (No. 111), noted the Government's indication that the Industrial Relations Act (Betriebsverfassungsgesetz) offered employers and work councils a variety of possibilities to contribute to the integration of foreign workers and the elimination of racism and xenophobia at the workplace, including the conclusion of workplace agreements on these issues.
