  ومن ثم تمّ تعميم مشروع النص المنقح في مرفق الوثيقة UNEP/POPS/COP.1/1963 - استرعى ممثل مرفق البيئة العالمية انتباه اللجنة إلى الوثيقة الإعلامية UNEP/POPS/COP.1/INF/11 بشأن الأنشطة التي ينفذها مرفق البيئة العالمية بوصفه الكيان الرئيسي الموكل إليه تنفيذ عمليات الآلية المالية على أساس مؤقت. وأشار إلى أن 119 بلداً قد تلقت بالفعل التمويل لخطط التنفيذ الوطنية وأن مرفق البيئة العالمية يستجيب لطلبات بشأن مشاريع أخرى تتصل بالملوثات العضوية الثابتة ويتصدى كذلك على أساس مستمر للقضايا المتصلة بالحاجة إلى تسريع الإجراءات للحصول على التمويل.
