• At its 28th meeting, on 18 August 2000, the Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights, recalling its resolution 1999/26 of 26 August 1999 and noting Commission on Human Rights resolution 2000/30 of 20 April 2000 and Economic and Social Council decision 2000/260 of 28 July 2000, decided, without a vote: (a) to request the Special Rapporteur on terrorism and human rights, Ms. Kalliope Koufa, to submit the progress report on her study at its fifty-third session; and (b) to request the Secretary-General to transmit, as soon as possible, the preliminary report on terrorism and human rights (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1999/27) to Governments, specialized agencies and concerned intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations for their comments, information and any relevant data they may wish to provide; to
  قررت اللجنة الفرعية لتعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان، في جلستها الثامنة والعشرين المعقودة في 18 آب/أغسطس 2000، بدون تصويت، بعد أن أشارت إلى قرارها 1999/26 المؤرخ 26 آب/أغسطس 1999 وأحاطت علما بقرار لجنة حقوق الإنسان 2000/30 المؤرخ 20 نيسان/أبريل 2000 ومقرر المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي 2000/260 المؤرخ 28 تموز/يوليه 2000، ما يلي: (أ) تطلب إلى المقررة الخاصة المعنية بالإرهاب وحقوق الإنسان، السيدة كاليوبي كوفا، أن تقدم إليها التقرير المرحلي عن دراستها في دورتها الثالثة والخمسين؛ (ب) تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يحيل، في أسرع وقت ممكن، التقرير الأولي عن الإرهاب وحقوق الإنسان (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1999/27) إلى الحكومات والوكالات المتخصصة والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية المعنية للحصول منها على ما قد ترغب في تقديمه من تعليقات ومعلومات وأي بيانات ذات صلة؛ وأن يتيح للمقررة الخاصة كل ما جمعه من معلومات، بما في ذلك تجميع الدراسات والمنشورات، من كافة المصادر ذات الصلة، بما فيها الحكومات والوكالات المتخصصة والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية والمؤسسات الأكاديمية، عن عواقب الإرهاب وآثار مكافحته في التمتع الكامل بحقوق الإنسان، هذه المعلومات التي أُتيحت للمعنيين من مقررين خاصين وأفرقة عاملة تابعين للجنة حقوق الإنسان؛ وأن يقدم إلى المقررة الخاصة كل ما يلزمها من مساعدة لإعداد دراستها.
• At its 28th meeting, on 18 August 2000, the Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights, recalling its resolution 1999/26 of 26 August 1999 and noting Commission on Human Rights resolution 2000/30 of 20 April 2000 and Economic and Social Council decision 2000/260 of 28 July 2000, decided, without a vote: (a) to request the Special Rapporteur on terrorism and human rights, Ms. Kalliope Koufa, to submit the progress report on her study at its fifty-third session; and (b) to request the Secretary-General to transmit, as soon as possible, the preliminary report on terrorism and human rights (E/CN.4/Sub.2/1999/27) to Governments, specialized agencies and concerned intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations for their comments, information and any relevant data they may wish to provide; to make available to the Special Rapporteur all the information, including a compilation of studies and publications, on the implications of terrorism, as well as the effects of the fight against terrorism, on the full enjoyment of human rights collected by the Secretary-General from all relevant sources, including Governments, specialized agencies, intergovernmental organizations, non-governmental organizations and academic institutions, and
