• In Ecuador, article 38 of the Codificación de la Ley de Desarrollo Agrario provides that the State will protect the lands assigned under the national agrarian reform to the development of indigenous peoples, and states that indigenous peoples' traditional ways of life are to be incorporated in and coordinated with the national agrarian reform institutions created to help with the economic development of rural areas.
  وفي إكوادور تنص المادة 38 من قانون الاصلاح الزراعي الوطني على أنه يتعين على الدولة بموجب قانون الاصلاح الزراعي الوطني حماية الأراضي المخصصة لتنمية الشعوب الأصلية وعلى إدراج أساليب الحياة التقليدية للشعوب الأصلية في المؤسسات الوطنية للاصلاح الزراعي المنشأة للمساعدة في التنمية الاقتصادية للمناطق الريفية وبالتنسيق معها.
