• Organized from 7 January to 7 October 2008 by the Rhônes-Alpes Region of France, in collaboration with multiple partners Interactions, Corpus, Apprentissages, Représentations, Institut Pierre Gardette, Centre de dialectologie de l'Université Grenoble 3, Dynamique du language, Centre de recherches et d'études anthropologiques and Institut national de recherche pédagogique, a survey on “Pratiques linguistiques en Rhône-Alpes (occitan, franco-provençal) et politiques linguistiques”, outlined the sociolinguistic practices in indigenous languages in the region.
