Of this total amount, the contract provided that GBP 4,848,536 would be financed under the terms of a loan guaranteed by the United Kingdom's Export Credits Guarantee Department (the “ECGD”), and that GBP 1,301,529 would be secured by two irrevocable letters of credit to be established by SCOP in favour of Combustion (outside the terms of the loan guaranteed by the ECGD to Iraq).
