• At the same meeting, John Trinder, President of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS), presented a paper (E/CONF.95/6/IP.21) entitled “Experiences with high-resolution satellite images for information extraction”, which offered an overview of recent high-resolution satellite images as provided, inter alia, by IKONOS, EROS and Quickbird with some applications of the data to geometric assessment and extraction of thematic information.
  وفي الجلسة ذاتها، قدم جون تريندر، رئيس الجمعية الدولية للمسح التصويري والاستشعار عن بعد، ورقة بعنوان ”تجارب استخدام صور السواتل العالية الدقة لاستخلاص المعلومات“ E/CONF.95/6/IP.21)) أعطى فيها نظرة عامة عن صور السواتل العالية الدقة الحديثة التي قدمتها جهات من قبيل الساتل التصويري إيكونوس (IKONOS) ومركز إيروس (EROS) للبيانات وشركة كويكبيرد (Quickbird) للتصوير والمعلومات باستخدام البيانات في التقييم الهندسي وفي استخلاص المعلومات الموضوعية.
