In addition, the Group noted the continuing and important role of the Office for Disarmament Affairs in enhancing awareness of the operation and procedures of the Register, encouraging timely submission of reports, developing a new Register website, assisting States with technical queries, updating the national points of contact, and highlighting the Register both within and outside the United Nations system, particularly through disseminating information on its website and in hard copies as requested by the 2003 and 2006 Groups.
