• In June 2003, the General Rapporteur of the Space Law Committee, Stephan Hobe, of the German branch of the Committee made a presentation to the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space concerning progress made, inter alia, on the various legal issues surrounding commercial space activities, in particular on the legal aspects of the privatization and commercialization of space activities, with special reference to remote sensing and national space legislation.
