    وتعتزم هذه الإدارة تركيب أجهزة المساعدة على السمع وإتاحة المطبوعات بحروف الطباعة الكبيرة وبلغة ”بريل“ والتسجيلات الصوتية للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.
  • Currently, t-coil loops, used as mechanical acoustical amplifiers by persons with impaired hearing, are available for meetings, and plans are under way to install assistive listening devices, large print materials in Braille and audio recordings for persons with disabilities.
    وفي الوقت الراهن، تتوافر للاستعمال في الاجتماعات أجهزة اللوالب المغناطيسية اللاقطة للصوت من طراز (T-coil) التي يستخدمها الأشخاص ذوو العاهات السمعية كمُضخمات صوت ميكانيكية، وتنفذ حاليا خطط لتركيب أجهزة مُساعِدة على السمع ومواد مكتوبة بحروف الطباعة الكبيرة بلغة ”برايل“ للمكفوفين، وتسجيلات صوتية لأجل الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.
  • These groups are provided with the following free complementary services: The talking library for the blind; Hearing and speech centres for the profoundly deaf and persons with auditory and speech impairments; Special education presses which print Braille; Special equipment, devices and aids for disabled children; Centres for the production of educational materials tailored to each type of disability; Cultural and awareness programmes such as: Radio programmes (Al-Nur Institutes for the Blind and Al-Amal Institutes for the Deaf); Printing in Braille of the Holy Koran and certain scientific and cultural publications and their distribution free of charge throughout the Kingdom and abroad; Access to educational, scientific and other informational materials; Magazines about disability and persons with disabilities.
    ويتوفر التعليم العام لكافة الأطفال حيث تنتشر المدارس بمراحلها الأربع رياض الأطفال والابتدائية والمتوسطة والثانوية (بنين وبنات) في شتى أنحاء المملكة المتفرقة بما في ذلك القرى والهجر الصغيرة، ويبلغ عدد الطلاب (بنين وبنات) في مراحل التعليم العام الأساسي بالمملكة 310 831 4 طالب وطالبة، وفق إحصاءات عام 1423/1424 (2002/2003).
