LLP has two components, i.e. a “Community Glossary” developed as a collaborative project involving local governments, universities and volunteer groups in selected language communities, and a Language Interface Pack (LIP) available as a free download to be installed on a licensed copy of Windows XP and Office 2003 Standard Edition.
ولبرنامج اللغة المحلية مكونان هما "مسرد للمجتمع المحلي" يُعد كمشروع تعاوني تشارك فيه الحكومات المحلية والجامعات ومجموعات المتطوعين في مجموعات لغوية مختارة، و"حزمة واجهة تطبيق لغوية" متاحة للتنزيل المجاني من الإنترنت، تُنصب على نسخة مرخصة من Windows XP أو النسخة العادية من Office 2003.
