• Further to our previous letters concerning the acts of aggression that Chad continues to carry out inside the Sudanese borders, I wish to inform you, and through you the members of the Security Council, that on 28 July 2009, Chadian troops crossed the border with 30 Merkeva tanks and four armoured cars, attacked the Sudanese village of Arwa and kidnapped Sudanese citizens.

• Further to our previous letters concerning the acts of piracy and provocation being committed by the United States naval forces in the Arabian Gulf, I have the honour to inform you that these occupation forces, with the participation of Australian forces, are continuing to take hostile action against vessels carrying civilian merchandise both in the Arabian Gulf and in Iraqi territorial waters. These naval forces intercept the vessels, assault and question their crews and, in some cases, detain ships and their crews for long periods of time.
  لاحقا لرسائلنا السابقة لكم بشأن أعمال القرصنة والاستفزاز التي تقوم بها القوات البحرية الأمريكية الغازية المتواجدة في الخليج العربي، أود إحاطتكم علما باستمرار هذه القوات وبمشاركة القوات الأسترالية بالاعتداء على السفن التي تنقل البضائع المدنية في الخليج العربي وفي المياه الإقليمية العراقية، إذ تعترض السفن بالقوة وتعتدي على طواقمها وتحقق معهم وفي بعض الأحيان تقوم باحتجاز هذه السفن وطواقمها لمدة طويلة.
• Further to our previous letters regarding the repeated aggressions by Chad inside the borders of the Sudan, thereby taking advantage of the wisdom and self-restraint of the Government of the Sudan, I should once again like to inform you, and, through you, the members of the Security Council, that on Thursday, 16 July 2009, at 8 a.m., two Chadian Sukhoi fighter jets bombarded the Um Dukhun area, which is within the borders of the Sudan. A Chadian helicopter also bombarded that city at 11 a.m. on the aforementioned date, dropping two bombs that fell some 500 metres from the market.
  وصلا لمكاتباتنا السابقة بشأن الاعتداءات التشادية المتكررة التي تنفذها تشاد داخل حدود السودان مستغلة ما تبديه حكومة السودان من حكمة وضبط للنفس، أرجو مرة أخرى أن أنهي لعلمكم وعبركم لعلم السادة أعضاء المجلس أنه وفي تمام الساعة الثامنة من صباح هذا اليوم الخميس الموافق 16 تموز/يوليه 2009 قامت مقاتلتان تشاديتان من طراز سوخوي بقصف منطقة أم دخن داخل الحدود السودانية، كما قامت مروحية تشادية بمعاودة قصف المدينة في تمام الساعة الحادية عشرة من صباح اليوم وأطلقت قذيفتين سقطتا على بُعد 500 مترا من السوق.
• With reference to my telephone conversation with you today and further to our previous letters concerning Lebanon's position with respect to the Shab`a farmlands, I have the honour to transmit to you herewith the map of the cadastral survey in the Shab`a farmlands area as agreed between Lebanon and Syria on 27 March 1946 and signed by the two magistrates entrusted with the delimitation of the boundaries, namely Mr. Adnan al-Khatib (Syria) and Mr. Rafiq al-Ghazzawi (Lebanon). As signed by the two magistrates at the bottom, the map says that “the boundaries separating the two villages, Mughr and Shab`a, are final”, so that in the 1960s they became the international boundaries as a result of the agreement of subsequent commissions (see the documents previously submitted).
  عطفا على حديثي الهاتفي معكم اليوم، وإلحاقا بمراسلاتنا السابقة بشأن موقف لبنان من مزارع شبعا، نودعكم ربطا خريطة المسح العقاري في منطقة مزارع شبعا المتفق عليها بين لبنان وسوريا بتاريخ 27 آذار/مارس 1946 بموجب توقيع القاضيين المكلفين بتخطيط الحدود وهما القاضي عدنان الخطيب (سوري) والقاضي رفيق الغزاوي (لبناني) والتي بحسب توقيع القاضيين في أسفل الخريطة تقول إنه “أصبحت الحدود الفاصلة بين قريتي المُغر وشبعا نهائية ”، بحيث أصبحت في الستينات الحدود الدولية نتيجة اتفاق اللجان اللاحقة (مستندات سابقة).
