The relevant authorities of the Government of Iraq have also asked for the reinstatement of 40 previously expired and cancelled letters of credit with a total value of 64 million United States dollars in order to pay suppliers for goods that were delivered to Iraq and for which the authentication documents are to be forwarded to the United Nations (see table 3).
طلبت السلطات المختصة في الحكومة العراقية أيضا إعادة صلاحية 40 خطاب اعتماد كانت قد انتهت صلاحيتها أو أُلغيت، وتبلغ قيمتها الكلية 64 مليونا من دولارات الولايات المتحدة، لدفع ثمن سلعٍ سلمها الموردون في العراق، وسيتم إرسال وثائق الإثبات الخاصة بها إلى الأمم المتحدة (انظر الجدول 3).
