The measures it is taking to enshrine the principle of non-discrimination against women are not exclusively legislative measures taken by the legislative authorities. Indeed, there are other measures, including judicial measures involving the possibility of annulling verdicts which represent discrimination against women, under article 173 of the Law of Shariah Procedure which gives the right of appeal.
كما أن التدابير التي تتخذ لتكريس مبدأ عدم التمييز ضد المرأة ليست كلها تشريعية يتم اتخاذها من قبل السلطة التشريعية، بل إن هناك تدابير أخرى كالقضائية عن طريق إمكانية إلغاء الأحكام التي تشكل تمييزاً ضد المرأة عن طريق ما توفره المادة (173) من نظام المرافعات الشرعية من حق الاعتراض على الأحكام.
