• (b) Misuse of international organizations, since misappropriation of names or use of the names of major international organizations were common in these schemes. As a result, major international organizations including the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Bank of International Settlements, and regional development banks had been associated with the schemes, as well as central banks of every major country.
