The common thread to all these variations is that, even though the buyer may have possession and the use of the property (and in some cases may even have the right to dispose of the property), it does not actually obtain rights in the property until the purchase price is fully paid. Until that moment, title continues to vest in the seller.
والعامل المشترك بين كل هذه الأشكال المتنوعة هو أنه حتى إن كان المشتري حائزا للممتلكات ويستخدمها (وفي بعض الحالات قد يكون له حتى الحق في التصرف فيها)، فهو لا يحصل فعلا على حقوق في الممتلكات إلى أن يسدّد ثمن الشراء بالكامل ويظل حق الملكية آيلا للبائع حتى تلك اللحظة.
