Recognizing the critical role of domestic resource mobilization for sustainable growth and development, the Ministers committed themselves to scaling-up efforts to mobilize domestic savings, strengthen financial systems, stem capital flight, promote the Pan-African stock exchange and reduce the transaction costs of remittances; and pledged to explore appropriate measures to ensure the channelling of domestic resources into productive investments.
واعترافا بالدور الحاسم الذي تؤديه تعبئة الموارد المحلية لتحقيق نمو وتنمية مستدامين، التزم الوزراء بزيادة الجهود المبذولة لتعبئة المدخرات المحلية، وتعزيز النظم المالية، وإيقاف هروب رأس المال، والترويج لسوق أوراق مالية لعموم أفريقيا وتخفيض تكاليف المعاملات المتصلة بالتحويلات، وتعهدوا باستكشاف تدابير ملائمة لكفالة توجيه الموارد المحلية إلى استثمارات منتجة.
