According to the authorities in Kinshasa, “the record figure was due to diamond exports being assessed at correct international open market prices, based on the SIDC (Société Internationale de Diamants Congolais) rough diamond price book, as well as the Democratic Republic of the Congo's strict adherence to the terms of the Kimberley Process”.
ويرجع تحقيق هذا الرقم القياسي وفقا لما ذكرته السلطات في كينشاسا، إلى ”تقييم صادرات الماس بالأسعار الصحيحة للسوق المفتوحة الدولية بناء على دليل تسعير الماس الخام للرابطة الدولية للماس الكونغولي، إلى جانب تقيد جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية الصارم ببنود عملية كيمبرلي“.
