Shelter Afrique, a pan-African housing finance institution of which Liberia is a member, has agreed in principle to provide a $1 million line of credit to the Liberian Bank for Development and Investment for onward lending to potential beneficiaries for the rehabilitation and restoration of damaged housing units in Monrovia and its environs.
أما مأوى أفريقيا، وهو مؤسسة لتمويل الإسكان فيما بين الدول الأفريقية، وليبريا عضو فيها، فقد وافق من حيث المبدأ على إتاحة مبلغ ائتماني مقداره مليون دولار للمصرف الليبري للتنمية والاستثمار، بغية مواصلة إعطاء القروض للمنتفعين المحتملين من أجل إصلاح وترميم الوحدات السكنية التي أصابها الضرر في منروفيا وضواحيها.
