At present, a campaign is under way in the communications media, aimed at ensuring that domestic workers can take out insurance against occupational risks or, in the absence of such insurance, if they should suffer an accident at work, seek the necessary medical attention and rehabilitation.

Following the entry into force of the reforms introduced into the Social Insurance Act on 20 December 2001, a system of administration of occupational safety and health is being established in which it is provided that for enterprises which take out accreditation with the STPS a factor of 2.2 will be applied to the premium factor in the calculation of the insurance premium against occupational risks.
وبعد سريان مفعول الإصلاحات التي أدخلها قانون التأمين الاجتماعي المؤرخ في 20 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2001 يجري إنشاء نظام لإدارة السلامة والصحة المهنيتين ينص على تطبيق معامل مقداره 2.2 على المؤسسات التي تحصل على اعتماد لدى وزارة العمل والشؤون والخدمات الاجتماعية على معامِل الأقساط في حساب أقساط التأمين ضد المخاطر المهنية.
