“Prohibited weapon” is defined in subsection 84(1) of the Criminal Code as “any weapon, other than a firearm, that is prescribed to be a prohibited weapon”, including, by virtue of Part 3 of the Schedule to the Regulations Prescribing Certain Firearms and other Weapons, Components and Parts of Weapons, Accessories, Cartridge Magazines, Ammunition and Projectiles as Prohibited or Restricted, “Any device designed to be used for the purpose of injuring, immobilizing or otherwise incapacitating any person by the discharge therefrom of …(b) any liquid, spray, powder or other substance that is capable of injuring, immobilizing or otherwise incapacitating any person.”)
وتعرّف المادة 84 (1) من القانون الجنائي”السلاح المحظور“ بأنه ”أي سلاح، عدا السلاح الناري، ينص القانون أنه سلاح محظور“، بما في ذلك، بموجب الجزء الثالث من جدول لوائح حظر بعض الأسلحة النارية وغيرها من الأسلحة، ومكونات الأسلحة وأجزائها، وتوابعها، وحاملات خراطيشها، وذخائرها، وقذائفها المحظورة أو المقيدة الاستعمال ”أي جهاز مصمم ليستخدم بغرض إصابة شخص أو جعله غير قادر على الحراك، أو شل قدرته بشكل من الأشكال عن طريق استعمال ذلك الجهاز لإطلاق (ب) أي سائل، أو رذاذ، أو مسحوق أو غير ذلك من المواد التي تصيب الشخص أو تجعله غير قادر على الحراك، أو تشل قدرته بشكل من الأشكال“).
