The international community should provide more assistance, focusing on assisting developing countries to construct and develop water supply and sewage treatment and recycling facilities, as well as developing their human resources and capacities for planning and management.
وذكرت أنه ينبغي أن يُقدِّم المجتمع الدولي قدرا أكبر من المساعدة، مع التركيز على مساعدة البلدان النامية في إنشاء، وتطوير، مرافق إمدادات المياه ومعالجة مخلَّفات الصرف الصحي وإعادة تدويرها، وكذلك في تنمية مواردها البشرية وقدراتها فيما يتعلق بالتخطيط والإدارة.

He/she will be assisted by a Senior Water and Sanitation Officer (P-5) and a Water and Sanitation Engineer (P-4) whose immediate task will include the cleaning and disinfection of wells, installation, repair and maintenance of water supply and proper sewage disposal facilities.
وسيساعده موظف مياه ومرافق صحية أقدم (ف - 5) ومهندس مياه ومرافق صحية (ف - 4) تشمل مهامهما المباشرة تنظيف وتطهير الآبار وتركيب وتصليح وصيانة شبكة الإمداد بالمياه والمرافق المناسبة لتصريف مياه الصرف الصحي.
