The doctor thought that the man's case was very strange, and so he gave him an examination but found nothing untoward. However, the patient insisted and the doctor had to give the man a general scan. It was then that he discovered that the patient was in pain because of a broken finger, and that the pain was caused by his finger. It was not a generalized pain.
