During the month before election day, a series of meetings were hosted by my Special Representative, including with the Ministers of Defence and the Interior, the National Security Directorate, the International Security Assistance Force, the Independent Election Commission and members of the international community, to address the increasingly problematic issue of securing the polling centres on the basis of the provisional Independent Election Commission planning figure of 6,969 polling centres.
وخلال الشهر الذي سبق يوم الانتخابات، استضاف ممثلي الخاص سلسلة من الاجتماعات ضمت وزيري الدفاع والداخلية، ومديرية الأمن الوطني، والقوة الدولية للمساعدة الأمنية، ولجنة الانتخابات المستقلة، وأعضاء في المجتمع الدولي لمعالجة الإشكالية المتزايدة المتعلقة بتوفير الأمن لمراكز الاقتراع على أساس عدد مراكز الاقتراع المؤقت الذي وضعته لجنة الانتخابات المستقلة لغرض التخطيط وهو 969 6 مركزا.
