The Section would be headed by a Chief Medical Officer (P-5) reporting to the Chief of Administrative Services, who would be responsible for implementation of the work programme of the Section, including management and coordination of integrated civilian-military medical facilities, organization and provision of medical-care and health-care maintenance of all Mission personnel, implementation of environmental health, workplace and personal hygiene measures, prophylaxis and vaccinations, coordination of medical evacuations within and outside the Mission area, coordination of evacuation operations in the event of epidemics and planning of monthly inspections of the military and formed police contingents.
وسوف يرأس القسم كبير الموظفين الطبيين (ف - 5) الذي يخضع للمساءلة أمام رئيس الخدمات الإدارية، وستناط به مسؤولية تنفيذ برنامج عمل القسم، بما يشمل إدارة المرافق الطبية المدنية - العسكرية المتكاملة والتنسيق بينها، وتنظيم العمل على تقديم الرعاية الطبية لجميع العاملين في البعثة ورعاية صحتهم، وتنفيذ التدابير المتعلقة بالصحة البيئية ومكان العمل والنظافة الشخصية، وإجراءات الوقاية من الأمراض والتطعيم، وتنسيق عمليات الإجلاء الطبي داخل وخارج منطقة البعثة، وتنسيق عمليات الإجلاء في حالات الأوبئة والتخطيط لإجراء عمليات تفتيش شهرية على الوحدات العسكرية ووحدات الشرطة المشكَّلة.
