ومن أهم المسببات المرضية أو الآفات الحشرية المؤثرة على صحة الإنسان والمتوقع انتشارها على نطاق واسع ما لم تتخذ إجراءات وقاية عاجلة لها: الحمى القلاعية، جدري الضأن والماعز، طاعون المجترات الصغيرة، التهاب الأنف والالتهاب الرغامي المعدي البقري، الحمى البقرية الوبائية، داء البروسيلات، السل (الدرن)، الحمى الفحمية (الجمرة الخبيثة)، داء الثايليريا، التهاب الضرع المايكوبلازمي في البقر، وحمى القرم النزفية.
