The Cloud-Aerosol Lidar and Infrared Pathfinder Satellite Observations (CALIPSO) mission to study the microphysical and radiative properties of clouds and aerosols and their impact on the Earth's radiation budget will be carried out jointly by CNES and NASA, the latter taking overall responsibility for the mission.
إن بعثة الأرصاد الساتلية للسحب والهباء الجوي بواسطة الليدار والأشعة دون الحمراء في إطار برنامج باثفايندر (كاليبسو) الرامية إلى دراسة الخصائص الفيزيائية الصغرية والاشعاعية للسحب والهباءات الجوية وأثرها على ميزانية إشعاع الأرض سوف يشترك في الاضطلاع بها كل من المركز الوطني للدراسات الفضائية وناسا، وتتولى هذه الأخيرة المسؤولية الكاملة عن البعثة.
