• Some of the States like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu have amended the provisions in the Hindu Succession Act, regarding co-parcenary property (ancestral immovable joint family properties) to enable the daughter also to inherit ancestral properties.
  وقد قامت بعض الولايات مثل أندرا برادش وكارناتاكا وتاميل نادو بتعديل أحكام قانون الوراثة عند الهندوس، المتعلق بممتلكات الورثة المشتركة (ممتلكات الأسرة المشتَرَكة الثابتة الموروثة من الأسلاف) لتمكين البنت أيضاً من أن ترث ممتلكات الأسلاف.
• Transactions related to the disposal or encumbrance of an immovable which is common joint property of spouses or the rights thereto, also transactions related to the transfer of a joint enterprise or securities or the encumbrance of the rights thereto may be made only by both spouses, except where one of the spouses has been granted the power of attorney by the other spouse to enter into such a transaction.
  ولا يجوز إبرام معاملات تتصل بالتصرف في عقار هو ملك مشترك للزوجين أو تكليفه أو التصرف في الحقوق فيه، وكذلك المعاملات المتصلة بنقل ملكية مشروع مشترك أو أوراق مالية مشتركة أو تكليف الحقوق فيها إلا من جانب الزوجين، باستثناء الحالة التي يكون فيها أحد الزوجين قد مُنح توكيلا رسميا من الزوج الآخر بالدخول في مثل هذه المعاملة.
