  قل -أيها الرسول- لهؤلاء المشركين : إن الله عز وجل نهاني أن أعبد الأوثان التي تعبدونها من دونه ، وقل لهم : لا أتبع أهواءكم قد ضللت عن الصراط المستقيم إن اتبعت أهواءَكم ، وما أنا من المهتدين .
