كما تلاحظ الممثلة الخاصة أن البلاغات كانت أدة هامة في فهم مدى تعقيد حالة المدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان في أرجاء العالم، إذ إنها توفر أكبر مصدر للمعلومات يعول عليه في تحديد الاتجاهات التي تؤثر على المدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان في كل منطقة من مناطق العالم.
