For years, the international community has been informed, especially thanks to the reports presented by the Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea, about the grave dangers that threaten our oceans and seas and the dire consequences that may have an impact upon what constitutes a gigantic source of food, mineral resources and energy.
