In the area of health, WHO has been working closely with the Ministry of Health on a variety of levels, including the Palestinian essential drugs programme, immunization, monitoring of water quality, disease control and provision of laboratory equipment and training.
وفي مجال الصحة، ما برحت منظمة الصحة العالمية تعمل على نحو وثيق مع وزارة الصحة على عدة مستويات، بما في ذلك، البرنامج الفلسطيني للعقاقير الأساسية، والتحصين، ومراقبة نوعية المياه، ومكافحة الأمراض، وتوفير معدات المختبرات والتـــــدريب عليها.
An explicit recognition of the need to close the disparity between maternal mortality and morbidity rates in industrialized and developing countries, and also within countries, including through devoting the maximum available resources to increase the investment to enlarge and improve human resources for health; fulfilling financial commitments on international cooperation, and greater resources; and committing to strengthen comprehensive primary health systems and basic health infrastructure, including allocations for monitoring, supervision, basic national health-system functions, accessibility and affordability of essential drugs, community monitoring and other necessary support functions;
(ج) الاعتراف الصريح بالحاجة إلى إزالة التفاوت القائم بين معدلات وفيات ومراضة الأمومة في البلدان الصناعية والنامية، وأيضاً داخل البلدان، من خلال وسائل منها تخصيص أكبر قدر من الموارد المتاحة لزيادة الاستثمار بهدف توسيع وتحسين الموارد البشرية الصحية؛ والوفاء بالالتزامات المالية المتعلقة بالتعاون الدولي، وزيادة الموارد؛ والتعهد بتعزيز النظم الصحية الأولية الشاملة والبنية الصحية الأساسية، بما في ذلك المخصصات اللازمة لأداء مهام الرصد والإشراف والمهام الأساسية للنظم الصحية الوطنية، وإتاحة الأدوية الضرورية بأسعار معقولة، ورصد المجتمعات المحلية، وغيرها من مهام الدعم الضرورية؛
