According to the Protection and Promotion of Health Act (No. 85-05), article 72: “Abortion for therapeutic purposes is considered essential in order to protect a mother whose life is in danger or whose physiological or mental equilibrium is seriously threatened.
وينص القانون رقم 85-05 الخاص بحماية الصحة وتعزيزها، في المادة 72 على "أن الإجهاض بهدف العلاج يعتبر إجراءً ضرورياً لإنقاذ حياة الأم من الخطر أو للحفاظ على توازنها الفيزيولوجي والعقلي المهدد بصورة خطيرة.
