• Calls on States, when implementing paragraph 90 of the DDPA, to ensure that national human rights institutions have focal points on racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, as well as the capacity to contribute to effective remedies to victims;
  يدعو الدول إلى الحرص، لدى تنفيذ أحكام الفقرة 90 من إعلان وبرنامج عمل ديربان، على أن تكون للمؤسسات الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان مراكز تنسيقية بشأن العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب، وكذا القدرة على المساهمة في سُبُل الانتصاف الفعال للضحايا؛
• A final comment on this point: whatever anti-discrimination laws are passed and whatever measures are taken to combat racism, certain negative trends will never be reversed until positive steps are taken to improve the situation of those women and men affected by racial discrimination and/or multiple discrimination.
