The nation is committed to accomplishing Health for All and Education for All and has set specific targets relating to primary school enrolment, adult literacy and reductions in infant, child and maternal mortality through access to health services, better dietary intake and promotion of better child care practices.
وتلتزم الدولة بتحقيق هدف الصحة للجميع والتعليم للجميع. وقد رسمت أهدافاً محدَّدة تتصل بالقيد في المدرسة الابتدائية ومحو أمية الكبار وإجراء تخفيضات في معدل وفيات الرُضَّع والأطفال والأمهات من خلال كفالة سُبل الحصول على الخدمات الصحية وتحسين المقادير المتناولة من التغذية وتعزيز الممارسات الأفضل في مجال رعاية الطفل.
In the sphere of education, programmes had been carried out in such areas as education from the womb to age six, with community and family participation, the establishment of mother and child guidance centres, the provision of integrated health care, dietary and nutritional services and initial education, non-conventional integrated care and education services for indigenous children, the introduction of an integrated three-shift timetable and meals service in the country's schools, the completion of the baccalaureate course, the provision of alternative educational arrangements, and the school meals programme.
وتناولت مسألة التعليم، فقالت إن هناك برامج تنفذ في مسائل من قبيل التعليم منذ بدء الحمل وحتى سن 6 سنوات، بمشاركة الأسرة والمجتمع المحلي، وإنشاء مراكز لتوجيه الأمهات والأطفال؛ والاهتمام المتكامل بالصحة والحماية الغذائية والتغذوية والتعليم الأولي، وخدمات الرعاية المتكاملة والتعليم غير التقليدي لأطفال الشعوب الأصلية من الجنسين؛ والعمل بالتوقيت الكامل والتغذية على ثلاث نوبات في المدارس الوطنية؛ والتخرج من الجامعات؛ وتوفير مجالات تعليمية بديلة؛ وبرنامج التغذية المدرسية.
