• At that meeting, the Department's Regional Centre for Peace, Disarmament and Development in Latin America and the Caribbean, located in Lima presented the programme of work of the Regional Clearinghouse to the Consultative Committee of the Inter-American Convention Against the Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Materials and proposed a memorandum of understanding to support the implementation of the Convention.
