After partial hepatectomy, in the regenerating liver of progeny, cytogenetic changes similar to those in the irradiated fathers were noted (decrease in mitotic activity, increase in chromosomal aberration frequency, and so forth), but the extent of changes was lower in comparison with the parent generation.
