To ensure easier access to important public utility facilities for Older Persons, affirmative action will be initiated like setting up a special Geriatric Centers in each district hospital and special OPD counters for the aged at PHCs and hospitals.

An ILC Senior Associate collaborated with the Albertina and Walter Sisulu Institute of Ageing in Africa within the Division of Geriatric Medicine, University of Cape Town and the Stroud Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology within the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University in New York on this project.
